Deft – Blue Jasmine (Teaser)

Another buy recommendation from my side is a release on project mooncircle. Deft brings with “blue jasmine” a stepper, beat and dnb release full of warm subtle dub. Totally looking forward to this one and hey, it comes on nice white vinyl (and includes a download code of course)

Have a preview here.

I wish you all a pleasant week!

Matthew Halsall – Tribute To Alice Coltrane

A bit late with a posting about this release, “When the world was one” (released in june this year) by matthew halsall and the gondwana orchestra. Not only is it a record full of the atmospheric, warm and yet so careful and concentrated jazz typical for Halsall’s records but it is also amazing to see how this artist keeps moving forward over the number of releases he created.

Interesting is also the focus in some pieces on Japanese influences, but maybe the biggest joy to me is the fact that this record was also released on vinyl!

So, ’nuff said. Go and get an ear or two and buy the record! :-)
